Any IoT device that supports 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE-M, or NB-IoT standards can be used. 

An IoT SIM can come in different formats like for example any phone card SIM. An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a form factor or format of an IoT SIM (MFF2), a tiny chip already soldered onto the device itself. Both achieve the same goal of providing cellular network connectivity, but eSIM offers a smaller form factor and easier device management. However, eSIM availability might be limited depending on the device model.
