Industrial IoT Connectivity

As industries move towards more automated and data-driven operations, the demand for robust IoT hardware and seamless connectivity becomes paramount. The challenges within this space include ensuring consistent network performance, managing connectivity across diverse geographies, and addressing technical issues that arise with end-user configurations.

customer reference siretta

Background

Siretta Ltd, a prominent player in the cellular IoT hardware industry, specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced industrial IoT cellular network analyzer tools, antennas, cellular modems, and routers. The SENTRY is their suite of such tools designed for industries that require precise and reliable network performance data to optimize their IoT deployments. The SENTRY products help users identify network issues, measure signal strength, and ensure optimal connectivity. Their newly launched SNYPER 5G and IoT Network Analyser is a handheld tool designed to analyze all available cellular networks within its range to give real-time cell tower results.

Challenge

Siretta faced a challenge in ensuring their customers could effectively use the SENTRY without encountering connectivity hurdles. Most often technical support calls are related to SIM connectivity and configuration problems. This impacted the general product performance and resource capacity. Seamless network reach, especially for Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networks, was critical for the global deployment as well.

1NCE Solution

For the SENTRY product line, 1NCE provided IoT SIM Card Business solutions, while the SNYPER Network Analyser was equipped with IoT SIM Chip Industrial connectivity. We included a non-refillable 3FF SIM which aimed to eliminate external connectivity factors and reduce the number of technical support calls, thus enhancing user experience and proving the product's concept more effectively. The integration of 1NCE’s connectivity solutions, coupled with the 1NCE portal, provided Siretta with a cost-effective way to manage their connectivity needs. This ensured that all networks, including LPWA, were accessible for the SNYPER and SENTRY products, crucial for their global reach and functionality.
